If he got banned that is pretty funny because I remember when that came out, he checked from two GM's if it's allowed "Yes yes, clever use of game mechanics."
Why can't GM's spam their "Can't answer that." macros when they are really needed instead of making stuff up. Sucks for him

No, that was the method you were supposed to use to kill some of the bosses in that wing easier. It just was a bit more effective than intended, so they removed it altogether instead of making it balanced.
@Lich: They made it impossible to do what the mage in the video in the original post is doing.

Same happened to athene(?) and his crew when they were power leveling with mob tagging. They got banned.
